No Weddings (2025)
Marriage is a sacred union, and in adherence to the liturgical life of the Church, weddings are not celebrated during periods of fasting or major feasts.
On all fasting days and during the fasts throughout the year: on all Wednesdays and Fridays;
From Monday after the Lent of Lent until the Sunday of St. Thomas the Apostle inclusive (February 24 - April 27);
During the Fast of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul (June 16–28);
During the Fast of the Assumption of the Mother of God (August 1–14);
On the Beheading of St. John the Baptist (August 29);
During the Fast of the Nativity of the Lord (November 15 – December 24);
On the eve and on the days of the Imperial Feasts (February 1 – 2; May 18-19; June 7-9; August 15; September 13 – 14);
From Christmas to Epiphany (December 25 – January 6).
